Who is this for?
For those purchasing a property and want/need to check the structural health of the property. All banks require this survey before they approve the client’s mortgage for the property.
Our Pre Purchase Building Survey Reports offer a comprehensive overview of the construction of the property, identify major/minor defects present, and make recommendations for remedial repair. Our Clients are given a clear understanding of any current issues prior to committing to a purchase.
What does it cost?
We have a fee of:
€550 (including VAT)
Per Pre-Purchase Survey Report for most property types. This includes the property visit and preparation of the detailed report.

Our Process
Call us on 01 531 0287. We will obtain the details of the property you are purchasing, and provide you a quotation over the email within minutes.
Once we obtain the go-ahead from you, we organise access directly with the vendor’s Estate Agent, and carry out the property visit.
We have the ability to visit the property within 3 working days of the go-ahead from you. It is a policy of our firm to have the finished report sent to you within 2 working days from the property visit.

Yes, our report is a visual report with many photos.
What if I have Questions about my Survey?
You will have the contact details of the Engineer who conducted your survey and they are available to take calls or answer your questions by email.
Will the Survey meet my Bank’s needs to get a Mortgage?
Yes. Our surveys are specifically designed for Pre-Purchase needs and meet the requirements of banks and financial institutions in Ireland.
Do your Engineer/Surveyor carry Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance?
Yes, O’Neill O’Reilly & Associates holds Professional Indemnity Insurance – a copy of which can be shared upon request.
